About Us

Your host for the duration of your stay at Knapp Farmhouse B&B, Teresa Kennard, aims to make your stay memorable. She is enthusiastic about her home and the village of Powerstock, Near Bridport in West Dorset. Teresa and her family returned to live in her husband's "home territory" in Dorset over twenty years ago, taking on the restoration of Knapp Farmhouse to create the lovely family home and Bed and Breakfast it now is.

The family delights in living and working in this part of rural Dorset and resident Labrador and Border Terrier, Teal and Elle, help to make guests feel welcome too. Teresa is only too happy to share her knowledge of interesting places to visit in and around Dorset, and relishes sending her guests off for the day fortified by hearty home-cooked breakfasts from selections of fruits, fresh juice, yoghurt, muesli, porridge, kippers - the marmalade is home-made and the bacon and sausages come from local butchers.
