There is No 'i' in Team!

As you may have guessed, my skills lay largely in the design and front-end development areas, and the majority of my work is my own from start to finish, but there are occasions where clients requirements fall outside of my own skillset, and in those instances I work closely with some very talented web developers. Over the past few years I have worked on all kinds of development projects, from full scale social media sites, to dating websites, file transfer and storage systems, medical practitioner portal systems and much more.

Juggling balls

Leave The Juggling Act To the Clowns

Some freelancers will try and tell you that they can do everything, and that multiple people working on one project causes problems, but anyone who tells you they can do everything is either lying or even worse, they honestly believe they can, and are deluding themselves. This kind of crazy juggling act, where one person tries to do everything almost always ends in disaster. You wouldn’t let your plumber re-wire your house, or your roofer tile your bathroom, why let a designer write complex code or a computer programmer design your logo?

With proper communication and proven working procedures in place, working collaboratively with other designers, illustrators, animators and developers, means that you as the client can benefit from not only a valuable second (or third) opinion, but also you get to make the most of the very specific skillsets that different new media professionals can bring to the table.

Some of my more complex development projects are below, or please take a look at my portfolio for more of my work.
